The Michelin Guide's review
Ilha Boipeba, more authentic than Morro de São Paulo, is the southernmost island of the Tinharé archipelago. In the rustic little town of Velha Boipeba, a posto telefônico serves as an information office for travellers. On the outskirts of the village, the landscapes are stunning: on one side, the river beach, moored fishing boats and mangroves; on the other, the ocean and coconut palms as far as the eye can see. A series of exceptional beaches lies to the south of the island, including Moreré, which is lined with natural pools, and Bainema.
