The Michelin Guide's review
Set in a picturesque valley overlooking the sea, this 12ha-landscaped park is planted with rare species and a multitude of flowers. The gardens behind the house were laid out in 1898 by famous landscape gardener, Gertrude Jekyll. Paths lead to "living" works of art, each of which is more beautiful than the last. Thanks to the local microclimate, the park's rhododendrons grow to a height of 10 to 12m: don't miss them in full bloom in May-June.
