The Michelin Guide's review
The cathedral has a 66m-high steeple and 21 large stained-glass windows filtering in the light. Five of the windows are by Guido Nincheri, one of Canada's most prolific religious artists and famous for his huge murals, frescoes and stained glass. The Gothic Revival-style building was finished in 1900, and officially declared a cathedral 16 years later. Pope John Paul II celebrated mass here in 1984.
