The Michelin Guide's review
With its four round, pepper-pot towers, Vallauris castle, rebuilt in the 16C, is one of the few examples of Renaissance architecture in Provence. The castle, once owned by the monks of the Lérins islands (the 12C chapel, which can still be seen, now houses the Musée National "La Guerre et la Paix"), is the setting of the Musée Magnelli and the Musée de la Céramique.
