The Michelin Guide's review
The museum housed in the Colegio de San Gregorio not only boasts a huge inventory of 13C to 18C Spanish statuary but also features many pictorial works. As well as one of the finest collections of polychrome wooden statues in Spain, it is home to works that for the most part date from the 16C and 17C. At the time, Valladolid was the centre of Castilian sculpture, thanks to masters such as Alonso Berruguete, Juan de Juni and Gregorio Fernández.
