The Michelin Guide's review
This fine art and archaeology museum showcases 400 000 years of history and six centuries of history of art, as well as an historic building that has recently undergone significant restoration to bring it back to its former glory, including an ultra-modern annexe. The museum specialises in landscape paintings from the 16C to the present day with a focus on the red chalk drawings by Hubert Robert. The archaeological collection is devoted to the middle Rhone valley.
