The Michelin Guide's review
This church has a twin in Nore: both were built in the late 12C around a central pillar, reworked in the 17C and decorated by the same artist. Uvdal's church has 17C paintings imitating stained-glass windows and framed by plant motifs. The pulpit depicts scenes in which four apostles are each accompanied by an animal, although not those with which they are generally associated. Near the church there is a fine, ancient farm and a lovely view over the valley.
