The Michelin Guide's review
This open-air museum, representative of the pile or stilt dwellings characteristic of the area, provides a living reconstruction of a lakeside village from the Neolithic and Bronze eras (4000-850 BCE). Architecturally, the buildings are very convincing and the scenes depicting the inhabitants in twenty or so houses highly realistic. Visitors are invited to play at being archaeologists by cutting stone or making fire according to ancient techniques.
