The Michelin Guide's review
This Romanesque church is unique in Denmark. Built in freestone during the 12thC, it has been virtually untouched since, and is the only one to still possess its original, imposing twin towers above the porch.. The interior is decorated with numerous frescoes from the 13th C representing scenes from the New Testament. Those adorning the apse and the groups of soldiers in armour shown fighting on the West wall are absolutely remarkable.
