Since it was built in 1939 as the set for Arizona, starring William Holden, Old Tucson has been the location for more than 300 movies and TV shows. The timeless Far West image depicted by Westerns was largely shaped by this village that has remained unchanged. It has now been converted into a theme park for children with rides, a small steam train and shows. The somewhat old-fashioned museum charts the history of the movies shot here.
