Modern Art Museum - Troyes Bishop's Palace
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
In 1976, Troyes industrialists, Pierre and Denise Lévy, bequeathed their substantial collection of French art (2,000 works), collected since 1939, to the state. To house this treasure, the city of Troyes converted the former bishop's palace, currently under restoration. The collection includes 388 paintings (late 19C to early 20C), 1,277 drawings and 104 sculptures, glassware, African and Oceanic art and a rich collection of Fauvist art.
