The Michelin Guide's review
This large ochre residence built between 1740 and 1808 was the home of Spanish count, Nicolás de la Cruz Brunet. Today it houses the Museo Romántico. The large collection of 19C furniture and decorative arts recreates an aristocratic Cuban interior with strong "European" influences. Visitors find themselves in a luxurious setting with Sèvres porcelain, bisque statuettes and French opaline objects displayed on mahogany furniture.
