The Michelin Guide's review
Take a stroll back in time as you walk through the narrow streets of this ghetto, which was created in 1410. Although by the early 19C Třebíč had a sizeable Jewish community, many Jewish inhabitants emigrated once restrictions on their civil rights and freedom of movement were lifted in 1849. Two synagogues, a Jewish cemetery and houses in the ghetto have survived to this day, all of which form part of Třebíč's UNESCO World Heritage Site.
