The Michelin Guide's review
Housed in former convent buildings in the southern Gothic style, the museum contains an exceptional collection of paintings and sculptures from the Middle Ages to the early 20C, including Gothic sculptures (14C-15C), religious paintings (14C-18C), French paintings (17C-19C) and a remarkable collection of 12C Romanesque sculptures which mainly come from the cloister of St-Sernin Basilica, N.-D.-de-la-Daurade monastery and Saint-Étienne Cathedral.
