The Michelin Guide's review
This oval-shaped park (1876, E.J. Lennox) is the setting for Ontario's Parliament and a few government buildings. To the west and east sprawls the University of Toronto, perhaps best known for its medical school where, in 1920, Frederick Banting and Charles Best succeeded in isolating insulin. To the south are the headquarters of Ontario Hydro (1975, Kenneth R. Cooper) which is heated by energy produced by artificial lighting, equipment and people.
