The Michelin Guide's review
A fine Baroque façade characterises this palace built by Guarini, where the first King of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II, was born in 1820. The building is now home to the Museo del Risorgimento Italiano, which houses a rich collection of documents illustrating the long and difficult march towards Italian Unification against a background of international events. The visit includes the Sala del Parlamento Subalpino and the Aula del Parlamento Italiano, as well as the sumptuous apartments of the Savoia-Carignano family.
