  The Michelin Guide's review
Located on top of the hill overlooking the town, Tomar's 12C walls enclose the buildings of the Convent of Christ, built between the 12C and the 17C and a veritable museum of Portuguese architecture with its mix of Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance styles. The Templar's Rotunda and the convent's window are its most outstanding features.
