Mori Tower
   Michelin Guide
 Well worth the diversions
Civil and military monument
  The Michelin Guide's review
It is difficult not to see Mori Tower, an enormous glass and steel cylinder, 54 storeys high, developed by American firm Kohn Pedersen Fox. Its unusual, cone-shaped entrance, the Metro Hat, leads to the interior. On the 52nd floor, an 11m-tall circular atrium with a 300m circumference commands a 360° panorama over the city and Mt Fuji on a fine day. The contemporary art exhibitions of the Mori Art Museum and the Mori Arts Center Gallery are worth a look.
