The Michelin Guide's review
The immense marshland of the national park of Bundala on the southern coast, is Sri Lanka's largest marshy zone and paradise for birds, and bird watchers. Over 150 species live here, either temporarily or permanently, such as those who come from Siberia in August to spend the winter. Between October and April, European bee eaters, African openbills, pink flamingos are frequently sighted. You may also see crocodiles in the marshes.
