This hike, which commands fine views over Lake Tignes, is prized by flower lovers. From the pass, the braver among you will continue onto the 2,870m-high Pointe du Chardonnet to enjoy the sweeping panorama over the Tarentaise. The others will be treated to the view from the Croix des Frêtes Pass, just next to Palet Pass. Finally, Tourne Pass, 2,656m high, commands a fine view of Tignes-Val d'Isère. On the way down to Tignes, admire Percée peak.
