This long and narrow square is lined by numerous shops protected by rudimentary awnings. It is also known as "bread square", in the centre of which are stalls piled high with round and flat loaves filling the air with their delicious aroma. Women sitting before small dishes and bottles of coloured powder hawk their mysterious beauty products to image-conscious city-dwellers.
