Sutherland Steam Mill Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
When Alexander Sutherland built this sawmill in 1894, steam was replacing waterpower. He made sleighs, carriages and sleds, while his brother and partner produced doors and windows for local houses. All the machinery is in working order, and the mill "steams up" once a month.
