The Michelin Guide's review
The vestiges of this necropolis dating from the 3C were discovered in 1923, during the construction of a tobacco manufacturing factory. The most common type of grave is a tegula, a small tiled structure, in which the deceased and amphorae were placed. On site is a permanent exhibition, entitled "World of Death", which showcases some of the most emblematic types of graves.
