The Michelin Guide's review
A fine example of the Byzantine influence that is so prominent in Wallachian architecture, this Brancovian-style church naturally includes traditional cable moulding in its façade. Resplendent with frescoes, the interior is also clearly of Brancovian inspiration (note the portraits of the princes responsible for its construction). There is a late-17C iconostasis and an Ottoman-style gallery.
