Cape Breton Island

The Michelin Guide's review
The island of Cape Breton, in the northeast of Nova Scotia, is an immense wooded plateau overlooking a beautiful wild coast. The island is practically cleaved in two by the Bras d'Or Lake: the southern part of the island is lower than the northern part, which is more interesting and home to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands. Tour the island along the Cabot Trail, one of the world's most scenic roads!
