 Well worth the diversions
Civil and military monument
  The Michelin Guide's review
Overlooking the town from a height of 40m, the keep, rebuilt in the early 20C, offers fine views of the surrounding countryside. However, only a section of the ramparts remains from the original imposing castle, which was nonetheless rebuilt in Renaissance style in the 16C, the rest having been destroyed in attacks carried out in 1621, 1624 and again in 1626.
