In 1995, an ecopark was created in the middle of the city to protect its flora and fauna from urban pollution. Haga Park, part of the designated area, is home to the manor where the current king of Sweden and his sisters spent their childhood. Local families come to enjoy the country atmosphere and English charm of the park. Younger visitors will be captivated by the bird and butterfly pavilion; older visitors will be intrigued by the copper tents (1787).
