The Michelin Guide's review
Three times as many pieces to see! After a lengthy refurbishment, Sweden's foremost fine arts museum reopened in October 2018, in the huge Italian Renaissance-style building it has occupied since 1866. Its important works of art cover the period from the Renaissance to the early 20C, including the largest collection of Scandinavian paintings and Impressionist works. The museum is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of Swedish design.
