Méjean Plateau

The Michelin Guide's review
Sparsely populated, the Méjean Causse stretches to the east as a huge desert and to the west is indented by deep ravines. Here, the ewe reigns supreme and it is not unusual to come face to face with a flock. With the Przewalski horses, tower-like concretions and griffon vultures gliding above, you feel like you've stumbled onto the set of an eerie Western. But it is of course the corniche path - the Sentier des Corniches du Causse - and the exceptional Aven Armand cave that draw the most visitors.
