This old Swedish brick-built warehouse constructed between 1692 and 1705 houses collections charting Stade's trading history and its system of fortifications as well as a prehistoric section which contains, amongst other exhibits, four magnificent bronze wheels (c. 700 BC) from a burial carriage, jewellery, arms and pottery.
