Eawy Forest
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The 6,900ha Eawy forest (pronounced E-a-vee) stretches over the rugged hilltop on the border between the Varenne and Béthune regions. Together with the Forêt de Lyons, it makes up Normandy's finest beech forest. It Germanic-derived name means "humid meadow". This omnipresence of water no doubt explains the quantity of flowers in the region, such as Bellevue gardens or the smaller Agapanthus garden.
