St-Nazaire, Airbus's second largest production site in France (after Toulouse), specialises in the assembly, fitting and testing of noses and central fuselages for the entire range of Airbus planes. You can take a tour of the gigantic production halls and will get very close to the impressive sections under construction, thanks to footbridges.
