Built in 1957 at the Augustin-Normand dockyard in Le Havre, the Espadon (Swordfish) was the first French submarine to navigate beneath the polar ice. Its narrow passageways offer an insight into the underwater world (sound effects) of the 67 sailors who worked on board the vessel.
