The Michelin Guide's review
Occupying an entire wing of the abbey, the Benedictine library of Saint Mihiel, finished in 1775, provides a prestigious setting for the precious holdings acquired by the Benedictines from the 9C to the Revolution: 9,000 volumes, including the Missel de Toul, the first book printed in Lorraine (1502), an illuminated music book from 1463 and part of the library of the Cardinal of Retz.
