This botanical garden is laid out around the residence of the Châteauvieux family, the former owners of the estate. It is dedicated to the protection of rare and endangered botanical species, in particular the native and endemic plant heritage of Réunion island. The island's diverse plant life is presented in eight collections in 8ha of gardens: Réunion, Introduced Plants, Creole Orchard, Succulents, Palms, Orchids and Ferns, Bamboos, Coffee Plants. Visit the superb and well-preserved villa.
