Thermal spa of St-Amand-les-Eaux
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
From the springs of Fontaine-Bouillon came the curative waters that the Romans appreciated. Although they left ex-votos here, the springs fell into disuse, until Vauban set about bringing them back in the 17C. The thermal building, rebuilt after 1945, now contains a hotel and a casino and its 8ha grounds extend into the forest by the Drève du Prince.
