The Michelin Guide's review
This square was directly inspired by St Mark's in Venice. It stands on the site of the garden laid out by Marmont and is lined by the elegant façade of the Renaissance Revival Prokurative, whose arcades are adorned with Venetian lions. Lined in spacious cafe and restaurant terraces, the square is often the venue for open-air shows, particularly during the Split Festival in summertime.
