This lavish Flamboyant Gothic palace was designed in the 15C by George the Dalmatian for one of the richest families of Split (Papalic was a friend of the poet Marulic, d. 1524). Nothing is missing from this palace: fine courtyard, well, carved outer staircase, loggia and finely sculpted main window. The edifice is now the venue of the town's museum, which houses collections of stone sculpture, decorative arts, weapons and models of the town...
