The Michelin Guide's review
The most outstanding feature of this Norman cathedral is its superb bay sculpted by a master mason in the late 13C. Built around 1108 within a surrounding wall, it is the only cathedral in England to have a complete set of three Norman towers. The fine main façade, flanked by two towers, has a Perpendicular-style stained-glass window. Inside, the Early English Gothic chancel and chapter house are remarkable.
