Located southwest of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada, the D. L. Bliss State Park attracts nature lovers with its lovely sandy beach and hiking trails. The Rubicon Trail, for example, is an easy 7km that winds along the mountainside above the lake, overlooks Emerald Bay and ends at Eagle Falls in the Emerald Bay State Park just to the south.
