Collegiate Church of St Vincent
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the 13C, this sandstone church is decorated with sober Lombard arcading. The nave is striking for its alternating round and trefoil columns, huge galleries and beams. In addition to the rood-screen, note the large marble bas-relief depicting the Resurrection, and the cabinet housing the shrine of St Vincent and its principal reliquary (19C) in the choir. Finally, in the corridor extending south from the choir, don't miss the fine 15C stone Entombment and the treasury (cloister).
