Initially a private palace, built in the 13C and raised in the 15C, the Palazzo Bellomo became the property of the nuns of the San Benedetto Monastery, now incorporated into the museum. It is mainly devoted to Sicilian art and has one major work, sadly very damaged but superb nonetheless: an Annunciation by Antonello da Messina. Also on display are sacred artefacts, furniture and ceramics.
