The Michelin Guide's review
Prasat Hin Sikhoraphum is one of the most beautiful Khmer buildings in the region. In addition, its perfect proportions, enhanced by a delightful garden, endow it with a charming and serene atmosphere. Surrounded by moats, the temple, built in the 12C, stands on a laterite platform. Its five pink sandstone prang are arranged in a quincunx, similar to Angkor Wat - a configuration from Hindu cosmogony that was reserved for state temples. Admire the magnificent sculpted lintel on the door of the central prang.
