Right in the centre of Sihanoukville, this 1.5km/1mi-long portion of the beach was privatised by the Sokha Resort Hotel. Those not staying at the hotel are however allowed to enjoy the clean white sand and even the hotel's pool and fitness room, provided they pay a modest fee. The portion to the southeast remains public, and while pretty, is a little too close to the road.
