The Michelin Guide's review
After Angkor Wat, Phnom Kulen is one of Cambodia's most revered sites. Kulen Mountain is also the water tower that enabled Angkor to flourish: the various rivers that flow through the temples all originate from its shady slopes. The site, which became a national park in 1993, offers many opportunities to explore the archaeological remains.
