The Michelin Guide's review
This Brahman temple dates back to the reign of Suryavarman II (early 12C), the founder of Angkor Wat. A number of details remind you of the gem of Angkor: the shape of the sandstone towers and of the lateral library, the devata (female deities) encircling the feet of the central prang, and the striking historiated pediments. Lovely light in the afternoon.
