The Michelin Guide's review
This masterpiece (1431-1536) drew on the talents of the two most distinguished artists in Dalmatia: Juraj Dalmatinac and Niccolo Fiorentino. Its chevet is particularly striking, decorated with a frieze featuring 72 characters, whose expressions, hair and clothes all vary. The stone roof and the dome (38m) are highly impressive. In the nave, don't miss the finely carved balustrade and the expressive painted Gothic crucifix (1455). The sumptuous baptistery is also by Dalmatinac.
