Sangkhalok Museum
Michelin Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Si Satchanalai has been renowned for its ceramics since the 13C. The Sangkhalok Museum houses a miscellaneous collection of varnished jugs, bowls, figurines, miniatures and caskets, as well as items made from celadon. The stoneware is often decorated with fish motifs, a design which is probably of Chinese origin. The second room exhibits potters' ovens discovered on Site 61 and provides information on how the ceramics were made.
