The Michelin Guide's review
Wat Nang Phya, the "Temple of the Queen", is worth a visit for the remarkable stucco reliefs on the south wall, which date from the period of Ayutthaya. Similar to wood carvings in style, these delicate reliefs depict floral motifs inspired by the northern art of Lan Na. The well-preserved openwork walls also give an idea of the temple's original elegance. Another chedi, in Sri Lankan style, can be seen on the raised terrace of the wihan.
