For security reasons, tourists are advised not to visit this region. This national park has been protecting the coast to the extreme south of the Sinai for the past 20 years. On land, migratory birds find refuge in its creeks and mangroves, while gazelles, lizards and foxes inhabit an area that extends for almost 500km. Divers will appreciate the beauty of its underwater world: extremely varied coral reefs (over 200 species of coral) and multicoloured fish with names as evocative as they are colourful (parrot, emperor, clown etc). It also boasts some beautiful beaches (especially Yolanda Bay).
